Large kitchen knife forged from wrought iron and carbon steel laminate.
The handle is curly maple inlayed with silver wire and stained with aqua fortis.
This knife has a very fine edge, suited to effortless slicing of meat and vegetables, chopping herbs and strong enough spine for crushing garlic. It is not suited for cutting on hard surfaces or cutting bone.
The vine pattern is punched in the the hot iron with various punches, the pattern continues into the handle with inlayed silver wire.
